How to Keep Your Makeup Tools Clean & Long-Lasting

  1. Clean Regularly
Brushes and sponges collect products, oils, and bacteria over time, which can lead to skin irritation and breakouts. To keep your tools clean and skin-safe, wash them regularly with mild soap or a brush cleanser.

How to Clean Your Brushes Properly:

    • Gently wet the bristles with lukewarm water, avoiding the ferrule (metal part) to prevent water from loosening the glue.
    • Swirl the brush on your palm or a cleaning pad until the water runs clear.
    • Squeeze out excess water using a clean towel or tissue.
    • Reshape the bristles and lay the brush flat or with the head facing downward to air dry completely.
    • Wipe the handle and ferrule with a dry cloth if needed.

Important: Avoid hot water, hairdryers, or soaking the brushes, especially since wooden handles can get damaged or warped, and the glue inside may loosen.

  2. Store with Care
Protect your brushes from dust, moisture, and damage by storing them in breathable containers or pouches. Our easy-to-clean silicone pouch is perfect for keeping them organized both at home and while traveling.

  3. Don’t Share Tools
For hygiene and skin health, avoid sharing brushes or sponges—even with close friends.

  4. Know When to Replace
With proper care, brushes can last for years. However, sponges should be replaced every 1–3 months, and any brush that starts to shed, fray, or lose shape should be replaced to maintain flawless application.

  5. Use the Right Tool for the Right Product
Extend the life of your tools by using them with the right formulas. Use dense brushes for cream and liquid products, and soft, fluffy brushes for powders to avoid product buildup and bristle damage.
